VDP was originally a manufacturer of accessories for other popular companies to brand. Their largest client went under in 2002, leaving the Jeep accessories market searching for a supplier of these quality parts. This manufacturer discovered that it was their products that people were after - not just the brand that put their name on them - and that year it launched its own brand, Vertically Driven Products. Since then VDP has continued to provide the accessories Jeep drivers love, as well as expand their product line to a wide range of accessories for Jeeps, Trucks, and UTVs.

Had a friend help me install this shelf. It took about 35 minutes. Works just like expected. Wish it came in different colors for E 450. Other then that I’m very satisfied with it.

This is perfect for my needs. I was looking for a weather proof box for my CJ-7. I did think that the securing means was a little flimsy. They only have 1 screw that goes into the roll bar. So I drilled a hole to attach them to the wheel well. I would recommend that they ship with a security bolt and screw so that the boxes could be better secured in an open Jeep application.
