The cover was actually easy to install but with one issue. My GMC truck has the fancy tailgate. The handle that comes with it attaches to the truck where one of the clamps would normally go. The instructions and parts do include installation for this, however, the part that was included (a plate) that bolts to the handle bracket where it is attached to the truck bed, is not shaped correctly. The bottom right corner of it needs to be cut back and a spacer or additional shim there would be good. I did not want to go to my barn and shave off a corner of it so I used auto body shims that I had left over from another project and all worked out fine. The other side of the bed, where the rear most clamp goes, has a special plate also that can be adjusted with some thin shims that were included in the parts kit. I found that my auto body shims worked better there also. This install would have been a breeze without the one part being the wrong shape. I understand what Roll-N-Lock was trying to do here but they just left out that one detail. It is a one person install, be sure to measure over and over and get all measurements correct so that things line up perfectly. I don't like drilling holes in my truck bed so I put the drain tubes down into my existing holes in the bed. So far it works fine, you may need longer pieces of tubing. You can secure the tubes down against the inside of the bed to keep them from coming out. I used self adhesive tube clamps. I am happy that I didn't have to drill into my truck anywhere. Other than that I am very happy with the cover.

Looks great - functions great, but unfortunately it came a bit damaged in the package. Didn’t feel like returning so installed it anyway. Just went through our first rainstorm and everything was nice a dry!
