BAK Industries is proud to present the most advanced tonneau cover ever made: The BakFlip F1. The new BakFlip F1 builds upon the popular BakFlip G2 and HD designs, with even better features and materials. The key element of the F1 is its new fiberglass-reinforced polymer (FRP) top, which makes this the strongest and lightest Bakflip yet.

The BakFlip F1 is built for superior strength, durability, and impact resistance. The fiberglass-reinforced top sits on top of a higher-density EPS core and an aluminum underside for rock-solid structural security. The cores of F1 panels are 35% denser than those on the G2, making them considerably more rigid. The BakFlip F1 satisfies OEM Quality and Rigidity Standards and qualifies as an Original Equipment Part for one of the Big 3 auto manufacturers.

The BakFlip F1 Tonneau Cover installs and operates just like the G2 and HD models. Its panels fold open and lock up against the cab for full truck bed access without removing the cover. Integrated drain channels and seamless water-tight folds keep rain and moisture out of your bed. The F1 latches closed under the bed rails and locks up with your tailgate for total cargo security. Plus, it's finished off with two coats of epoxy primer and a scratch-resistant polyester coating for tough factory looks.

The stronger, lighter BakFlip F1 is backed with a 5-Year Warranty.

The Bak Flip F1 appears to be good quality. I purchased one for a 2013 Ridgeline. The good...panels are nice and have a non reflective black surface. The design appears to be fairly good. The bad... The two side rails that were delivered appeared to have been modified from some other model to fit the Ridgeline. The front mounting holes were improperly located and the rails had been hand cut out on the underside to fit over the rear sidewall near the tailgate. The problem is that it took much longer to clean up the rough edges and file out the front holes to fit, install/ emove several times. Also the otherwise powder coated rails were compromised. Also, there was not a proper seal for the center mounting screw and the drain tube coupling was missing on one side. It needs a rubber block to insert in the recess on the side to seal the rail. In addition, I had to purchase some counter sink screws, (6 and 8mm) x 2" long, for the middle and front mounts as the head on the provided screws was too high for the panel to fit between the two sides. However, it is installed, had one leak on the center side, used tape to seal it for now.

The BAK Bakflip F1 is a great cover, it installs easily, looks great, I had a little rain in the bed after a huge storm rolled through, but other than that I’m really happy with the cover. The craftsmanship is very nice, sturdy, and functions as promised. It’s a bit too expensive but hopefully in 10 years it will still be going strong.

This is a great product. It is a water tight, strong and secure bed cover. I especially like the way it doesn't change the contours or body lines of my vehicle. It sits and seals inside of the truck bed instead of lapping over the top of the bed rails. I would definitely recommend it to friends or family.

Delivered on time, installation was as easy as stated, looks great on 2013 Ridgeline. First trip back from Colorado to Kansas had rain on I-70 for 3 hours. Sad to say it leaked up in the corners by the cab, so I added a little silicone to hopefully correct this problem.

The cover is exactly what I expected, works well and is very sturdy. The installation was a breeze. Before I bought the cover I read a review that said the kit included a couple of self-threading screws but the directions do not tell you what to do with them. It was easy to see that they went into holes in the rails near the tailgate to support the rails. The bad news was the packaging appeared to have been opened and re-seal. The cover itself was well protected but the rails were tossed in loose along with some of the hardware. One small clip was broken on one rail and the drain tubes were missing. I contacted BAK by e-mail and they sent replacement parts immediately. I have had the cover about a month now and have mistakenly closed the tailgate onto the cover twice. There is a warning label on the under side of the cover reminding you to close the tailgate BEFORE closing the last section of the cover. I guess I would put a label on top of the cover also.

The cover itself is fine, although I would have preferred similar screws to those in the original truck body instead of straight Philips. The fit appears to be good although there hasn't been any rain to check water tightness and it wasn't enough of a concern to take a hose to it. For us, the primary use is to keep snow out of the bed during the winter. A couple of words of instruction about pulling down on the cables on each side to unlatch the unit wouldn't have killed BAK to add. It's obvious once you see it but when you're trying to get it on the first time it doesn't come quickly to mind if you've never used one and just lifted the cover from the shipping foam to the rails and discovered they'd snapped in too far forward. The drain tubes seem relatively pointless. It remains to be seen how well the provided recess covers keep out moisture.

Shopping was easy. The description fit the product. Installation was smooth and took very little time. I could have used an extra set of hands when installing the bolts to the brackets through the cover. The cover looks great and living in Florida we have plenty of rains so far only a few drops made it through and a minor adjustment seems to have stopped even those.
